Get involved

Our workshops happen because library staff, facilitators, and volunteers across the country make them happen. Whether you work at a library, a library-adjacent organization, or just care about involving your community in deciding where AI goes, we'd love to connect!

If you're a library staff member

We'd love to provide you with the materials and resources to run a workshop at your own library! We also have regular inter-library calls where we discuss strategy and logistics as well as swap learnings about various events we have already done. Please reach out to info@aisafetyawarenessproject.org for more information! To get your library signed up, please fill out our intake form here.

If you work at a library-adjacent organization

We partner with a variety of organizations that support libraries even if they are not library systems themselves such as WebJunction, RAILS, CALL, and more. We'd love to help either make our resources for you to use as you see fit or have you partner with some other library systems on the ground to facilitate more events.

If you'd like to involve your own community

You don't have to be a staff member at a library or a library-adjacent organization to get involved! We want as many communities as possible engaged in this conversation. You can help by talking with your local librarian about this, studying these materials on your own, or even running some events just for your own friends and family. Please contact us at info@aisafetyawarenessproject.org to discuss!
